These are items that ensure a home’s safety and longevity, that every homeowner should do on a regular basis most yearly. If you want any of this done select the corresponding number from this list and send it in an email, with your name, address, and phone number add the corresponding number(s). Example: I need 1-3-8-12 services, we will call answer questions and if you choose schedule service. Especially if you are doing this for an elderly or disabled homeowner. We also applicate your input to help us add to this list. We try to schedule exterior work from March 1st until December 1st unless it is a safety issue.
1 - Check and Replace Smoke Alarms and change batteries
2 - Clean window weep holes
3 - Clean window wells of debris
4 - Clean Gutters and down pipes after leaves fall (at minimum)
5 - Lube Garage Door components
6 - Check and repair screens
7 - Clean ceiling fan blades
8 - Clean or replace range hood filter
9 - Complete range hood exhaust cleaning and replace filter
10 - Replace light bulbs as needed
11 - Complete dryer vent-line cleaning
12 - Clean refrigerator coil
13 - Replace water filters
14 - Clean faucet filter
15 - Flush water heater
16 - Clean bathroom exhaust fan
17 - Clean refrigerator/freezer drip trays, coils, condenser
18 - Change all air filters (at least twice a year)
19 - Clean and maintain the exterior siding and trim (fix problems don’t wait)
20 - Clear away plant overgrowth and remove dead plants
21 - Clean exterior AC unit (we can also diagnose this if not running)
22 - Check for leaky faucets
23 - Clean all P traps and check for leaks
24 - Check all outlets for proper installation and Polarity (at least once, fire hazard)
25 - Label your breaker box
26 - Check the exterior paint for cracking and peeling
27 - Inspect exterior for termites or carpenter ants (bait for added protection)
28 - Check for radon gas (at least once) (We place a radon gas detector in your home for one week to test levels)
29 - Check for mold we suggest (MOLD ARMOR Do It Yourself Mold Test Kit) will safely and easily test for the presence of inside or outside mold with results within 48 hours and lab results if wanted in 3 weeks. We have found mold is most often found around leaky drainage, faucets, window and door seals and in unventilated areas.
30 - Check windows and doors seals and replace old or damaged (yearly)
31 - Be aware of potential asbestos in (older popcorn ceilings)
32 - Upgrade to a smart thermostat for energy savings
33 - Drain and winterize exterior plumbing and sprinkler systems
34 - Roofing should be inspected every spring (we will start doing drone roof inspections as soon as we stop breaking them!)
35 - Chimneys should be inspected and cleaned bi-annually for wood and five years for gas furnaces
36 - Pressure wash deck every spring and reseal every 3 years
37 - Pressure wash walls every 2 years
38 - Pressure wash roof every 3 years
39 - Pressure driveway every 2 years
