Typically, any home repair, installation or maintenance issue you require we can do. We are very upfront about our pricing. In fact, it is the first thing we will explain. Our first hour minimum rate with a single tech is $80 which covers your first hour or when the job is completed. If a 2-man crew is required the first hour minimum rate is $120 covers your first hour or when the job is completed. Additional time is billed at an incremental $50 an hour for one tech and $90 for two techs. Our free estimate is done with a free phone estimate, that will give you an up-front price for labor. If we quote 1 ½ hour labor, that is all we charge, even if we need to work a little longer. We even go a step further to ensure fairness, if we finish early outside of our first one hour minimum, we will only charge for the time it takes, reducing our labor quote. So, the 1 and a half hours may be 1 hour and ten minutes reducing your labor cost.
Disclaimer: This does not cover unseen damage that we find once we start an install. Example: rotten wood under a toilet, by code it must be replaced before the new install can procced. As this is not known it will be brought to your attention and it will be up to you to decide what to do. If we need to do a supply run to the nearest building supply, we charge a $1 per mile fee one way from your property to the nearest supply store using google maps. The additional materials will be supplied at cost and your hourly labor will be billed as an ongoing charge as the first hour minimum has be met, even if we need to reschedule until ordered supplies are available.
We supply materials at cost without markups. We also allow you to buy and have the products you want installed there and ready for install. We use the Princeton West Virginia Lowes as our primary supply store and if you purchase the product you want installed from there we can pick it up during one of our bi-weekly supply runs. Example: a new toilet, you tell the store “Home Repair & Remodel will pick it up” this way you don’t need to lug it home and we can ensure we have all the parts needed to complete the install.
Want to lower your power bill? WEATHERIZE! If your homes caulk and weather seals are over 3 years old you have the equivalent of a one-foot hole in your exterior, letting air, moisture and crawly things in and out. Start with the basics; [replace old caulking, door-seals, fill exterior cracks, check the ducts for leaks] We can probably do this for less than what you’re spending each year in higher electric bills. Today's premium exterior caulk can last up to seven years.
We remove broken appliances for a $30 per item desposal fee.

First, we need to talk on the phone and determine if it’s possible, this may save you the $30 fee.
We do emergency plumbing repairs; the hourly rate is $200 per hour plus materials and millage at $1 per-mile one way from the tech address to yours, using Google Maps. We typically use Pex B when possible as it is less prone to freezing.
Things we do not do: We refer these jobs to other contractors or sub-contractors.
We don't clean carpets or install flooring
We don't dig, if done by hand this is a very labor-intensive job that is better done with the proper equipment and a company that owns said equipment.
No new electrical installation. We do not run new wiring from the breaker box; Virginia requires a licensed contractor. We can replace existing electrical components, lights, fans, outlets etc. as long as the wiring already exists. We can also do line extensions from an existing box to add lights, light switches, outlets, fans to and from existing wired junctions.
No - Appliance, AC or Refrigeration compressor work, Virginia requires a Licensed HVAC tech. We always say clean the outside AC unit first! Let us clean the exterior unit and test its components, 70% of the time this can fixes or identify the problem. Total replacement should be your last choice.
